In our work, we take into account the needs and requirements of our stakeholders as well as the risks and opportunities associated with those requirements and our operating environment.
We are innovative and active. We design and manufacture products of a high technological and operational quality. Our products are safe to use and their environmental burden is optimised. We enable conditions and an operational environment in which the quality of our work and products, the personnel’s wellbeing, the safety of our operations and our environmental impact are under control.
We always comply with good business practices, the requirements of the law and the principles of social responsibility and sustainability. Our personnel participates in the development of our policies together with our customers and other stakeholders.
Quality
We engage in dialogue with the users of our products to be able to understand their expectations, and particularly with our customers in order to gain an understanding of their business, so that we can offer them the products and solutions they need. The design of our products focuses on ease of use, high quality and compliance. When designing products, we also consider their manufacturability. We work efficiently and profitably, so that the requirements set for our work by the owners and management are met. We intervene when we notice deviations and identify their reasons. We carry out all measures as agreed. It is important for us to ensure that we deliver orders to customers according to the agreed upon schedule and to the right address.
The environment
We know the environmental impacts of our operations and work continuously to reduce them. We design energy-efficient durable products that have a long life cycle and cause the lowest possible environmental load. We recognise the environmental load of our products throughout their life cycle and undertake to reduce it. We promote environmental awareness among our stakeholders to achieve the above goals. We utilise disposed materials whenever it is technically possible and economically profitable.
Safety and wellbeing
We always aim to be proactive and prevent accidents in advance. We report and investigate all accidents and safety-related observations in order to learn from them. We design and implement our products so that their manufacture is safe, their deployment is risk-free and their use is in accordance with the instructions ensures healthy and pleasant indoor air. We ensure the safety and comfort of the workplace through the awareness and management of risks. High-quality occupational healthcare that also covers the costs of specialised care promotes the wellbeing of the personnel and enhances our safety activities. In addition, we invest in the personnel’s wellbeing by means such as sponsoring cultural and sports activities.
Responsibilities
The company management and supervisors are responsible for the management and development of matters related to quality, the environment and occupational health and safety. All Vallox employees are, for their part, responsible for compliance with the agreed upon policies and for the active reporting and continuous improvement of any defects and areas of development detected in our work. It is important for us to also look after our colleagues’ coping and wellbeing, in addition to our own.»
